Nominees in the “ARTIST” category should have achieved a recognized level of success in one or more artistic disciplines. The three evaluation criteria are as follows:

Significance of the Body of Work (45 points)

Above all else, the level of achievement should determine an artist’s induction into the Edmundston Arts Hall of Fame. Inducted artists must present a portfolio worthy of recognition in an artistic discipline: professional recognition from the public or peers, honors, awards or grants, participation in major events, distinctions, or media reviews.

Artists who leave a mark on the community usually do so over many years, and their sustained involvement serves as a model. Key factors considered: number of years of involvement, consistency, dedication, and knowledge sharing..
